Welcome to the documentation for integrating HubSpot with Omnibound. This guide walks you through what integration does, how to connect your HubSpot account, and how your data is securely managed.
🔍 Overview
The Omnibound + HubSpot integration gives marketing teams real-time access to CRM data that powers smarter insights, content, and task execution.
By connecting to HubSpot, Omnibound fetches key CRM signals such as:
- Contact details (names, emails, lifecycle stages)
- Company information
- Deal stages and closed-lost reasons
- Notes and interactions
- Support tickets
This data is analyzed using AI to generate role-based marketing insights and trigger task recommendations—for example:
- Suggesting a testimonial campaign for a recently closed-won deal
- Notifying product marketing when objections surface in deal notes
- Auto-generating emails, content, or battlecards aligned with the pipeline
🔗 Installation & Authorization Steps
Follow these steps to connect your HubSpot account:
- Log in to your Omnibound workspace.
- Go to Input Data > CRM > HubSpot.
- Click the Connect button next to the HubSpot icon.
- You’ll be redirected to HubSpot’s authorization page.
- Review and grant the requested permissions.
- Once authorized, Omnibound will securely sync your selected HubSpot data.
No manual syncing required—everything runs automatically in the background.
🔐 Permissions (OAuth Scopes)
Omnibound only requests essential scopes for insight generation and task automation:
- crm.objects.contacts.read – To identify whether a caller is a known customer or prospect in your CRM
We do not request write access. All permissions are used strictly for insight generation and are fully secure. We do not access or store any sensitive or editable data from your HubSpot account. You can revoke access at any time.
⚙️ Post-Authorization Behavior
After successful connection:
- Your HubSpot CRM data is pulled and refreshed regularly
- Omnibound AI processes CRM records to surface insights
- These insights feed directly into personalized task recommendations
- You’ll see suggestions like:
- “Create follow-up campaign for at-risk accounts”
- “Generate blog content based on closed-won feedback”
- All content is drafted in your brand voice using Omnibound’s OmniSense engine
📊 Where You Can View the Results
Once integrated, you’ll find HubSpot-sourced insights helping our system in the generation of Insights and Recommendations section of Omnibound. We wouldn’t be surfacing any data or results from HubSpot in the dashboard; it is just for backend purposes. We are using the HubSpot MCP with our CREW AI agents to perform tasks.
Here, CRM-driven insights are categorized by:
- Category: e.g. Customer Retention, Competitive Positioning
- Insight: e.g. “Negative Feedback Identified from Sales Conversations”
- Task Recommendation: e.g. “Work on positioning and create assets for differentiation” or “Launch win-back email sequence”
You can also trigger AI agents directly from these insights to generate campaigns, emails, or content instantly.
❌ How to Disconnect or Revoke Access
You can revoke access to HubSpot at any time:
- Go to Input Data > CRM > HubSpot
- Click the

Go to- HubSpot Settings > Integrations > Connected Apps
- Find Omnibound
- Click Disconnect / Remove
All synced data will be deleted from our systems within 24 hours.
